Airplane Flight Fares To London Already Sky High
Even the airfares to London have tremendously increased; lots of tourists are not bothered by these price increases. The British Airways will be carrying over 250,000 passengers bound for London before the celebrations of the Royal Wedding. There are still some available seats from New York and Los Angeles to Heathrow Airport in London. The airfares are a number of times more than the original rate. Before, airfares from the British Airways start at $245 and are no longer available. Their prices at economy are more than $800 without the inclusion of fuel and taxes surcharge which costs around $500-$600. This will bring the actual ticket price at $1,400 per passenger.
Excerpts:
“Airfares to England next weekend are sky high, but that doesn't seem to deter many tourists eager to get there in time for the Royal Wedding.”
“More than 600,000 tourists are planning to visit London during the last weekend of April this year, according to Lisa Kearns, a spokeswoman for VisitBritain.”
